Peak Season Notes — Aug 4, 2026 · Daily Ops Summary
  1. Orders & Units Shipped: Shipped 869,962 units / 329 orders yesterday (8/3) — down from 881,082/588 the day before as the week opens; 1,678 orders now in LogPro (down from 1,842). Delivery exceptions held flat at 29 and OTIF stayed strong at 98%. YTD we're at 4,373 orders / 1.8M units vs. last year's 44,863 / 47.0M as peak volume continues to build.
  2. Customer PO $ Processed?See Customer Orders Processed (OMT) panel for description.: July closed the month at $72.8M — just behind last year's $76.8M (↓5.2%); August is just getting started at $2.3M through Day 4. 123 FOs / $630.0K sent so far this week, led by Robbinsdale Public Schools (9 FOs / $60.4K). OMT Open Cases stand at 141 / $4.72M, with 59 cases awaiting sales rep response ($2.08M) and 3 large cases (≥$100K) totaling $792.0K.
  3. Short-in-Pool (SIP): All SIP rose to 36 ISBNs / 5,611 units short (from 33/5,549 the day before) as new titles hit the pool overnight; True SIP?True SIP = unplanned out-of-stocks with no reprint scheduled — the most critical gap for leadership. True SIP ticked up to 29 ISBNs / 4,554 units (from 27/4,540), still concentrated in EM2 2nd Edition (22 ISBNs) with printing in progress.
  4. Sales Support & Sales Snags Being Worked: Ops intervention is needed to correct Texas shipping charges. Recommendation by Ops to split a bulk-shipment to a new A&L Tennessee customer was declined by Sales has been escalated by Ops. Cleveland Metro's order-quantity discrepancy is being resolved by the creation of add-on orders, product "exchanges", and 3 comped order.
  5. EM Squared Florida V1 Winding Down: With EM FL BEST being discontinued after this year, print ops will buy only bare-minimum inventory going forward rather than restocking heavily.
